Hands-on: an automated CI/CD pipeline for .NET Core Lambda on AWS

Working notes on applying the AWS DevOps blog's automated CI/CD pipeline for .NET Core Lambda functions to my own project, including a CodeCommit credential issue on Windows.

From the archive · a 2021 working note, kept for reference.

This post extends an AWS blog post and applies it to my own project: Automated CI/CD pipeline for .NET Core Lambda functions using AWS extensions for dotnet CLI | AWS DevOps Blog

The first step is creating a CodeCommit repository.

Lesson learnt

I hit a credential issue between AWS accounts with CodeCommit. If this happens on a Windows machine, reset the stored credentials:

  • Go to Credential Manager and remove the saved CodeCommit credentials.

Finally, I finished building the project and deployed it to Lambda.
